A NEW COMMUNITY SPACE DOWNTOWN

LCF is spearheading a new beautification project in Downtown Larkspur: Arch Street Landing, a small native garden and retreat space on a city-owned empty lot.

After working with the city and related professionals for more than a year, the project has received a green light and fundraising will now begin to fund a new outdoor space for the people of Larkspur.

A BUSY LANDING FOR LOCALS

The small parcel at the base of the Arch Street Steps is a prime candidate for revitalization given its busy location: at the base of the Arch Street Stairs and directly across from the plaza in front of Lark Creek Shops. 

LCF set out to create a sustainable, accessible, inviting outdoor space that showcases Larkspur’s many attributes and encourages community connection.

AMENITIES FOR EVERYONE

Arch Street Landing will be a welcoming plaza where residents and visitors of all ages can gather, relax, and connect.

Larkspur landscape designer Jennifer Tippett created a pro bono layout that uses ecologically friendly materials to provide seating and planted beds under the mature buckeye tree, as well as a drinking fountain and a new bus shelter.

PROJECT TIMELINE & PROGRESS

The Arch Street Landing has achieved many significant milestones since its conception in spring 2025. Leading the project for LCF, Laura Anderson, Alicia Alexander, Sheri Mowbray and Kristin Abbott are driving LCF’s effort to complete the park by summer 2027.

The development of Arch Street Landing is expected to cost $400,000. LCF will be funding the entire cost of the project through community donations.

Prospective donors can consider donations to at specific levels or funding for a specific item below. Donors will be recognized on-site with a special personalized plaque or embossed stone. And all donations to LCF for Arch Street Landing are fully tax-deductible.
