THANK YOU, LARKSPUR!!!

A big, BIG night for our small town! 🌹

We are so proud of our community for turning out on Saturday September 19 for our 2026 Rose Bowl Dance.

From the weather to the dinging trolleys to the delicious food and drinks to the nonstop dancing to Tainted Love, it was simply a perfect celebration. Everyone had a spectacular time!

We at LCF are incredibly grateful to all of our sponsors and attendees for your support of this fundraiser. The proceeds from this dance will support our efforts to make Larkspur a more beautiful and connected place to live.

Larkspur Community Foundation is a volunteer-run nonprofit that champions projects and events that make Larkspur a more connected and beautiful small town.  Proceeds from the Rose Bowl will be used to advance these efforts. This year, our focus is seeding the development of Arch Street Landing, a small community space on Magnolia Avenue across from the Lark Creek Shops.

From 1912 until 1963, the “Rose Bowl” was the most popular outdoor dance of its day. The weekly soiree on a downtown dance floor under the redwoods “put Larkspur on the map,”  drawing revelers from around the Bay Area and raising funds for the town’s volunteer fire department. The party was revived in 2008 to commemorate the Larkspur Centennial, in 2012 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Rose Bowl Dance itself, and most recently, in 2024 as a fundraiser for LCF.
