Arch Street Landing to Become a Reality!

Today we are thrilled to announce the official launch of our fundraising campaign for Arch Street Landing, the transformation of an empty lot downtown into a beautiful new community gathering space.
After working with the city and other experts for more than a year, LCF will spearhead the development of this native garden and plaza at the base of the Arch Street Stairs – a busy downtown spot across from the Lark Creek Shops.
Arch Street Landing will use ecologically friendly materials to provide new amenities for everyone – seating, accessible paths, planted beds, as well as a new drinking fountain and bus shelter – while retaining the mature trees on site.
The development of Arch Street Landing is expected to cost $400,000. LCF will be funding the entire project from community donations. We are grateful to several generous donors who have already seeded the project with tens of thousands of dollars, which, together with the Rose Bowl Dance proceeds, have put us well on our way toward completion of the plaza in summer 2027!
We hope you will keep Arch Street Landing in mind as you consider your year-end charitable giving. LCF has created donation opportunities at levels from $500 to $25,000, all of which will be recognized at the plaza. And don’t forget: Donations to LCF are always tax deductible.
The LCF’s Arch Street Landing team is composed of Laura Anderson, Alicia Alexander, Kristin Abbott and Sheri Mowbray. Reach out to them directly with any questions at archstreet@larkspurcommunityfoundation.org and find all the latest information about the project on our website at bit.ly/arch-street.
Once again, LCF thanks you for your support of our initiatives aimed at making Larkspur an even more extraordinary small town!
