Another unforgettable night!  Dance under the stars to Tainted Love when LCF revives Larkspur’s historic Rose Bowl Dance on Sept. 19, 2026 at the Escalle Winery.

Dancing to live music by the popular ’80s cover band, Tainted Love

Generously provided by Tavola Rustica, Copper Six, Hidden Splendor Beer, Honig Winery and Silver Peso

Two cable car trollies will be transporting guests to and from the Rose Bowl Dance with multiple stops on Magnolia Ave. in downtown Larkspur. They will run continuously from 6:50pm to 11:00pm. Please note there is NO parking available at Escalle.

Larkspur Community Foundation is a volunteer-run nonprofit that champions projects and events that make Larkspur a more connected and beautiful small town.  Proceeds from the Rose Bowl will be used to advance these efforts. This year, our focus is seeding the development of Arch Street Landing, a small community space on Magnolia Avenue across from the Lark Creek Shops.

From 1912 until 1963, the “Rose Bowl” was the most popular outdoor dance of its day. The weekly soiree on a downtown dance floor under the redwoods “put Larkspur on the map,”  drawing revelers from around the Bay Area and raising funds for the town’s volunteer fire department. The party was revived in 2008 to commemorate the Larkspur Centennial, in 2012 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Rose Bowl Dance itself, and most recently, in 2024 as a fundraiser for LCF.
